The project required a fully engineered solution that could be installed within a live hospital environment while protecting critical building infrastructure. By combining lightweight flexible solar technology with SolarEdge’s optimised inverter platform, the system maximises energy production without compromising hospital operations or the building’s waterproof membrane.

The project is expected to prevent approximately 400 tonnes of CO₂ emissions every year, delivering the equivalent environmental benefit of removing more than 120 passenger vehicles from Australian roads annually.
